I’m Tom Hillmeyer, a media content creator and freelance creative based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I’m studying Digital Media at Marquette University, and am involved in Marquette University Television as well as the Diederich College of Communication broadcast and production resources and facilities.
I have experience in broadcast television from both working with MUTV in the studio and serving as the MUTV Remote Broadcast Coordinator since 2017.

I have been shooting video professionally for almost a decade, before that pretty much ever since I’ve been able to operate a camera. I’ve worked with newspapers, marketing firms, and private clients as well as on creative teams and for special events. I have experience in event videography and photography, portraits, promotional material, and sports coverage.

Through my experience with MUTV at Marquette, I’ve had the privilege to learn Ross broadcast production equipment, including ACUITY, XPression, and Inception, as well as Black Magic Design equipment. Working in the Diederich College of Communication, I have experience with a wide variety of gear from Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Black Magic, RĂ˜DE, Shure, DJI, and plenty more.

As of July 2018 I’m an FAA-certified remote pilot, which means I am licensed to operate drones for commercial purposes.
